We are pleased to announce that on December 27, 2022 the Russian Ministry of Health issued registration certificate LP-008715 for the medicinal product Roxifuril™ capsules 200 mg for children and adults by Pharmaceutical Laboratories GALENICA, JSC (Kingdom of Morocco).
The active ingredient of Roxifuril™ 200 mg capsules is nifuroxazide, an antimicrobial agent derived from pitrofuran.
Nifuroxazide blocks the activity of dehydrogenases and inhibits respiratory chains, tricarboxylic acid cycle and a number of other processes in the microbial cell. It destroys the membrane of the microbial cell and reduces the production of toxins by microorganisms that cause acute intestinal infections. Does not disturb the balance of the intestinal microflora. At acute bacterial diarrhea restores intestinal eubiosis. In infiltration by enterotropic viruses prevents the development of bacterial superinfection.
