Introduction of mandatory labeling of five new categories of goods will begin in Russia on September 1, among them: food supplements, medical devices, as well as wheelchairs. The government decree is published on the official portal of legal information.
Also there was issued a decree, which amends the list of goods subject to mandatory labeling. The document states: "Approve the attached amendments to the list of certain goods subject to labeling ... wheelchairs, ... biologically active supplements, ... perfume and cosmetic products designed for hand hygiene, ... sanitary products ..., soft drinks, including carbonated drinks that include sugar additives".
